Career, Life, Relationships

It brings me a strong sense of purpose and a lot of happiness to help people find clarity and relief from feelings of being unclear, stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, resentful or uninspired. Believe me, I've been there too!

Do you wonder what you are meant to do in this lifetime? Why are you here?

Are you feeling trapped by your job? Not sure what to do?

When someone expresses their anger or disappointment toward you, do you freeze or question yourself?

One of the things I truly enjoy in life is exploring and diving into those uncomfortable moments in life.

Yes, being a human can be hard sometimes. A perspective that I love to embrace is that life isn't a puzzle to be solved. It's an adventure, an education and a celebration to be lived.

Let's do this!

MY TRAINING AND BACKGROUND

I am a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) through Co-Active Training Institute (coactive.com)  and a member of the International Coaching Federation (coachingfederation.org). These  programs have rigorous standards for certification and are recognized and respected world-wide.

My background includes years of additional facilitation, coaching and mentoring experience.

  • I've completed training using the Positive Intelligence (PQ) framework which promotes emotional intelligence, mental fitness and deep awareness of the ways our brain can highjack our performance and happiness. Through this awareness, we develop techniques that intercept unconscious thought patterns and put us in command of how we choose to respond to life circumstances.
  • I've trained and served as a volunteer in conflict resolution, community mediation and restorative justice with the Conflict Resolution Center of Santa Cruz County. Their mission is to provide alternatives to litigation, hostility, and violence through respectful, facilitated dialog.
  • I've trained with NVC Santa Cruz, a group dedicated to the principles of Non-Violent Communication, which seeks for deep understanding and recognition of core human needs underlying conflict and the practices and techniques for facilitating conflict resolution.
  • I'm a member of men's circles whose work keeps my personal growth, leadership and facilitation skills active. I get to help and support other men discover and navigate their inner landscape, cultivate their leadership and emotional intelligence and become the men they aspire to be.
  • I am an active volunteer with Milo Foundation and former volunteer with the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter. I train and mentor other volunteers in animal handling skills, facility knowledge and shelter protocols with the purpose of preparing and equipping them for their role in improving the quality of life for homeless animals who are waiting to be adopted.
